Advent is the beginning of the Christian year — a time for hopeful anticipation.  A search for hope, love, joy, and peace.

Beginning four weeks before Christmas, the season of Advent is supposed to be a special time of waiting and preparing, a time when Christians get ready to experience again the story of God’s Messiah, Jesus – the Light of the World.  It is also a time when Christians embrace the hope that Jesus will come again.

Join us this advent for Illuminate. Embrace the familiar practices of prayer, story telling, Scripture reading, holy conversation and acts of mercy.  Bask in the hope, joy, love and peace of the Light, and share the Light with others.
